Well it's been a while and a lot has happened the past several months (couldn't figure out how to put the pictures after this...)
In August/September Renee went to the US. She first spent a couple weeks with family, starting in Michigan at the cabin for a week. A bunch of family was there to see, brothers, parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents and lots of cousins. Even met some newly found family thanks to Grandpa Wagner. He found Uncle Ike's daughter Priya on Facebook and she drove over from Minneapolis with her boyfriend for a day. She was able to meet the majority of the Wagner family. It was really nice to get a chance to know her and hear the aunts and uncles telling her about Ike. MariJo, Bryan, Renee, Danny and David went kayaking in Watersmeet one day. We had another day of water sports at Holly and Mike's too. After a week there Renee and her mom dropped all the boys at the airport and then left to drive to Pennsylvania to see more family. On the way they stopped in St. Ignace to have dinner with Grandpa Wagner then in the Detroit area to visit with great aunt Virginia and Debra for an afternoon.
Renee's Paul Grandparents were in Pittsburgh and Aunt Shelley drove over for the weekend to visit. We spent one day in Pittsburgh seeing the University buildings including the Cathedral of Learning (I think that's what it was called) where they have classrooms with different countries themes. We went up on the incline to see some great views of Pittsburgh. A spent a good afternoon one day looking for estate sales and vegetable markets.
Then Renee and her mom were off again to drive to Austin stopping in Longview, Texas to visit with Travis's Grandpa (Pa) and Betty. Renee spent the next two weeks visiting with friends and spending time with her parents. She also got to visit with Charlie's family and finally meet little Grace. She got to visit with Travis's mom too and take care of our old cats while Rebekah was away. Callie also drove over to spend a couple days in Austin. Overall it was a great trip! One month get away to America!
Travis spent the month Renee was gone finishing up his novel which he has recently sent off to a publisher. Keep your fingers crossed for him. We should hear back soon. He also was expecting to hear back about an internship but that didn't work out. He also had to spend the time finding a new home!
We also moved several months ago at then end of September. We're in a much smaller apartment but in a much nicer area in Surbiton. We're closer to Travis's school and within walking distance of a bunch of other stuff including a train station. And again like our last apartment we're very close to a nice (even better one than before) park. Renee has also now found a job as a receptionist for the YMCA that is near our home.

There has been some visits and traveling the past couple months too but those post will be coming soon...
